well they going to upgrade it to video calling for free.
if you have a webcam, you can see who you are talking to.
And it will also have a toolbar for OutLook.

I love using skype and you don't have to sign up for the paid one.
This can be used to talk to other skype users and you can call TOLL free numbers.
This way you don't have to worry about your PHONE number be given out to the public.
